ACHIEVEMENTS JUNE to OCTOBER -2019

  • Chi. Krishna Sree Vallabh of Class IX participated in the 16th Okinawa Goju-Ryu Karate Open International Championship 2019 organized by the Okinawa Goju-Ryu Karate Federation, Malaysia from 3rd- 5th May, 2019 at Stadium IndraMulia, Ipohperak, Malaysia. He won the gold medal in the Sparing category and the silver medal in the Kata category.

  • Chi Hamsika Kura, now in Class VII who has previously also won many laurels in the field of Karate was featured in the Television program Sakhi in ETV2. It was telecast on June 25th, 2019. Very recently, Chi. Hamsika participated in the National Level of Karate Championship which was held at Gacchibowli from 18/1/2019 to 21/1/2019. This was organized by the Japan Karate Association of India (JKAI). She won the gold medal (under-14 girls) in the Kumite style and won the bronze medal in the Team Kumite Category.

  • Chi. Pranav of Class IX participated in the Under-14 Countryclub TableTennis Tournament held at Country Club , Begumpet in May 2019. He won the 1st place and was awarded with a trophy and a certificate.

  • Chi. Anushka Mohanty of Class III participated in a Kuchipudi Dance Performance on the occasion of the 13th Anniversary of SLB Kuchipudi Kalanilayam organized at Ravindra Bharati, Hyderabad on 15th April, 2019. She has been awarded with a certificate, a medal and a memento.

  • Chi. Parmeet Kaur Bedi of Class VIII participated in a Kuchipudi Dance performance at Ravindra Bharati on the 13th of July, 2019. This was organized by Sri Geethika Kuchipudi Art Academy on the occasion of their 20th Annual Day Celebrations. She was awarded with a memento and a certificate.

  • Chi. Shourya of Class VII and Chi. Dhairya of Class III acted in a short movie- Brothers, bringing about awareness of how violence by vehicle drivers of school going children brings about fear in them. Frequently talking to your child and listening to their concerns is sufficient to ward off all their apprehensions.

  • Chi. Sri Mithra of Class V is a budding child actor having a few movies to his credit. He has been acting since the past two years and has acted till now in four Telugu movies- Vinaya Vidheya Ramudu, Vijeta (New), Aata AdukundamuRa and Intilo Deyyam, Naaku Yemi Bhayyam.

  • Chi. V. Pranav participated in DRS- MUN (Model United Nations) held at DRS International School at Bowenpally , held from the 8th to the 10th of August, 2019. Chi. Pranav was a delegate speaking on environmental issues representing the country of Ivory Coast, as part of UNEA Committee. He was declared the best delegate and received a memento and a certificate. Chi. Pranav also participated in the MUN conducted at IIT-BHU held at Benaras from the 30th of August to the 1st of September 2019. The agenda for this MUN was Economic Crisis in Venezuela and South Sudan. Chi. Pranav was speaking on behalf of Cambodia as part of the Economic and Social Council.

  • Chi. M. Anshu of Class VI participated in a vocal concert in Indian Classical Music and Dance Competitions held at Community Hall, Padmavati Nagar, Khairtabad, Hyderabad on 28th July, 2019. This was organized by Sreeka Events. She was awarded a certification of appreciation and a medal.

  • Chi. Swara Rath of Class V, Chi. Sadhana of Class IV, Chi. Prateeka of Class IV and Chi. Harshitha of Class II participated in a dance performance organized by Sri Sadhika Kalakshetram dance school for its 2nd anniversary celebrations conducted at NTR Auditorium, Nampalli on the 22nd of August, 2019. They received mementoes for their excellent dance performance.

  • Chi. Akshaya of Class III participated in the 7th Salute Martial Arts Academy, Telangana State Invitational Championship-2019, (affliated to the Bodukan Karate Do- India) held at Victoria Indore Stadium, Chaderghat, Hyderabad on 18th August, 2019 . She secured the 1st place in the Kata category and was awarded with a certificate of appreciation and a gold medal.

  • Chi Ayush participated in an All India U-14 Cricket Tournament organized by the Don Bosco Cricket Academy in the first week of August at the Academy itself. He received the award for the best batsman, and a certificate of appreciation.

  • Chi. Jaswanth of Class IX participated in a Karate event organized by Vemula Ramesh of Uneversal Shotokon Martial Arts Organization, on 21st January, 2019 at Maithry Cricket Ground ,Patancheru, Telangana , India. His name was entered into High Range Book of world records for most number of full contact kicks in one hour, and he was awarded a certificate of the same.

  • Chi. Sahiti of Class VII participated in the 65th SGGF District Level Inter Schools Sports & Games 2019-20 in the Under-14 Girls Badminton, held at L.B.Indoor Stadium on 20th & 21st August, 2019. This was organized by the Hyderabad District School Games Federation. She secured the third place, and was awarded with a merit certificate and a bronze medal.

  • Disciples of Guru. A. ShivaKrishna Swaroop- Chi. AdityaKarthik of Class VII, Chi. Hrishikesan of Class VII and Chi. Sashank Subramanyam of Class VI participated in a group violin performance on the occasion of 73rd Independence Day celebrations. They were part of 73 violinists who performed for this occasion and this was telecast live on Suman TV.

  • Chi. K. K. Nischala of Class II and Chi. Vaishnavi of Class VI participated in a programme organized by Bala Mani Haaram at Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University as part of the SriKrishna Janmashtami celebrations in August 2019. Chi. Vaishnavi recited Bhagavad Geeta shlokas, while Chi. Nischala very lovingly depicted all the major facial expressions (Mudras, Nava Rasas) used in dance, and chanted a variety of Telugu poetry and namaskriyas. She did it with such extraordinary charm, that the chief guest for the event felicitated her with a shawl. Both Chi. Vaishnavi and Chi. Nischala received appreciation for the same and were offered certificates and mementos.

  • Bharat Vikas Parishad organized a National Group Song Competition (NGSC)- 2019 on the 28th of September 2019 at Mehaboob College, Secunderabad in the categories of Hindi, Sanskrit, Regional and Folk singing. Chi. Dev Agarwal of Class XII, Chi. Manognya of Class XI, Chi. Sadhana of Class XI, Chi. Madhumita of Class XI, Chi. Sruthi of Class X, Chi. SriMeghana of Class X, Chi. Oorja Nadkarni of Class IX and Chi. Gayathri Ganti of Class IX participated in the (Hindi + Sanskrit) song. Chi. Parimala of Class IX, Chi. Savitha of Class IX, Chi. Sahasra of Class IX, Chi. Amulya of Class VIII, Chi. Ananya of Class VIII, Chi. Anjali of Class VIII, Chi. Sahana of Class VIII and Chi. Sreshtha of Class VIII participated in the (Folk + Regional) category. Chi. Raman Kathik of Class VII supported all the songs on the harmonium. Both teams won 1st prizes in all four categories and will now be attending the state level competition, scheduled to be held on 3rd November 2019.

  • 58 students from Classes VI to XII had participated in the All India 7th Korea-India friendship essay competition with separate topics for the Junior group (Classes VI to IX) and Senior group (Classes X to XII). Chi. G. Harisha of Class X won a prize and was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 2000 and a merit certificate.

  • The 9th all India Child Art Competition 2019 was organized by the Maruti Art Academy- Gujrat on 20th September 2019, in which 111 students had participated in Painting, Greeting Card making, Photography and Cartoon drawing competitions. Chi. Dharani Gollu of Class VIII received the Bal Ratna Award in the painting competition, while Chi. Pravallika of Class IX received the Bal Ratna Award for Greeting Card making. Both were awarded with mementoes and merit certificates. 14 more students from Class V to IX received gold medals in the above mentioned competitions, while two more students received silver medals.Vidyalaya also received the Active School Award laminated certificate. Appreciation certificates and gold medals were awarded to the Principal and Art Teacher as well.

  • Kalabharati Child Art Development Institute, Pune had conducted a National Level Contest in Colouring and Handwriting on 25th July, 2019, for students from Class LKG to Class X , in which 582 students had participated in the colouring competition and 125 students had participated in the handwriting competition. 24 students got gold medals in the colouring category while six students got gold medals in the handwriting competition. Vidyalaya also received mementoes and appreciation certificates for School Award, Principal award and Art Teacher s award.

  • The girls basket ball team comprising of ten students from Class VIII to X, won the first prize in the HUBS PETS Training Group Tournmament held at St. Martin s School, Malkajagiri. They were awarded gold medals, merit certificates and a team trophy. Chi. Janhavi of Class IX won the gold medal in the girls chess seniors (Class IX & X) category and was awarded a medal, a merit certificate and a memento.

ACHIEVEMENTS

  • The fine arts classes in the Vidyalaya are usefully dealt. Children are exposed to competitions like Kalabharathi a prestigious organization at Aurangabad –Maharashtra, which conducts many competitions for the overall development of the child, where their hidden talents in art and craft are exhibited. The competitions were conducted on (17.07.13 – 21.07.13) in the field of Drawing, Handwriting and Essay Writing respectively. As usual this year too our Vidyalaya participated and bagged the following awards:
  • Kalaratna Award  (a silver medal)
  • 37 Balratna Award (Bronze medal)
  • Dronacharya Award given to Principal for encouraging and motivating maximum participation.
  • Active School Award for Maximum participation (1078 participants)
  • Active Teacher Award
  • ‘The Bait 2013’  a debate on current issues conducted (11.07.13) by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan- Jubilee Hills. V. Aravind –XI Com & Amber Khanna of Class XI Sci took the 2nd place respectively.
  • Trived of VIII is our Chess Wizard. In the Inter School Chess Competition conducted by Sadhu Vaswani International School, Kompally(13.07.13), Trived won the I Prize in under – 17 Category.
  • We have a sports star in Badminton too. Anirudh Shankar of class X won the U-15 Singles and Doubles trophy conducted by Rangareddy Dist Badminton Association at Chandanagar, Hyderabad (13.07.13 & 14.07.13).
  • Sayyam Bothra was the winner in the U-15 single and Doubles category conducted by the Hyderabad Badminton Association at K.V.B.R.Stadium (12.07.13 - 14.07.13)

Science Olympiad Foundation, New Delhi has conducted an English Olympiad at an International Level. Aishwarya Srinivasan of XII (2012-13) has brought laurel to our institution by winning a cash cheque of RS.5000/- and a Gold Medal. “Horlicks Activity – Wiz Kids” (23.07.13) is one of the South Asian biggest Inter-  School Competition. Students have a platform to showcase their inner talent and to amply receive an award for their proficiency. The event includes 40 plus brain twisting and mind blowing challenges.We had 151 participants from our Vidyalaya in all activities. We bagged 6 Major prizes.

        • We were very proud to be judged the “Most Enthusiastic School” in the twin cities.
        • We received a memento for the most captivating placard display.
        • We bagged the bronze medal in Dance and silver medals in Painting and Drawing.
  • Eight students of class XI of our Vidyalaya were chosen for the finals in the Patriotic song competition conducted by a prestigious organization called Bharat Vikas Parishad conducted at Ludhiana on 16th, 17th Nov 2013. The students won in the State Level in the Regional Song competition were qualified for the final round in the national song competition.
  • Oakridge International School’s organization called OAKMUN conducted an enriching elocution competition. The experiences for our students were unparallel. Arvind of Class XI won an ‘HONARARY MENTION’ in the historic INDO- PAK Committee discussion.
  • The Directorate of Education AP organized a Crossword competition for students of class XI and XII. This was an interesting brain game session. Snighda of class XII and Nitya of class XI came out victorious from this competition.
  • Our students participated in Cyber Olympiad Competition conducted by SOF (Science  Olympiad Foundation) and secured good ranks. There were 6 class toppers bagging gold medals and selected for the second level too.
  • In EUPHORIA 2013 maximum students participated in all events of fine arts and bagged very good prizes and awards.
  • Our Vidyalaya has participated in painting competition conducted by the CBSE Board on Energy Conservation.
  • The Police Authority organized drawing , painting , elocution and essay competition to commemorate the police authority. who bagged 3rd prize – a cash award of Rs.2000/-
  • In the CBSE South Zone Football tournament our vidyalaya reached the pre-quarter finally held at Bangalore, a tough competition among 63 schools.
  • In the CBSE South Zone Badminton Championship held at Kottayam, we were Runners-Up in the Boys U-16 Category.
  • Master Hardev of class XII Science is chosen as the “Best Delegate” in the Fest OOPS conducted by Obul Reddy Model United Nation Forum.
